Who should play her?

No human alive could play her the way she has been described. Not without being a living human skeleton...and even those people out there who definitely can pass for that sometimes aren't thin enough or proportionate.

I think it's agreed we should leave her to our wandering imaginations.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, I think one of the last episodes that really 'invoved' Maris, didn't she gain an incredible amount of weight? I think Calista Flockhart would make a great Maris. Heck, if you want Maris heavy, how about Delta Burke?

The only person who I can think of would be the woman who plays Alley McBeal.

Isn't Maris a bit older than Niles? If she is, then Calista Flockhart would be to young.
