Upset over Aereo, a News Corp exec threatened to remove Fox's over-the-air signal.

Will Fox become a cable channel?
Nope.

Not anytime soon.

Yes FOX and the other 3 major networks will cease to use OTA signals.

Back around 2000 the FCC cooked up a plan (people rallied and made them stop this "front door" plan) to buy ALL the OTA spectrum back to repurpose it for WIRELESS.

After the FCC was foiled they cooked up the AERO device (found a person to front it) to use as the scapegoat for OTA going away....

FCC last year ruled OTA signals can be scrambled, now with this AERO this is the next step for FCC to buy back all OTA SIGNALS AND RE-SELL THEM TO WIRELESS INTERNET PROVIDERS.

SO millions of people who only get TV OTA gets SCREWED and will either have to get AERO or CABLE or SATELLITE and pay montly fees for OTA/local channels and its a done deal by 2020.
