That's good news for those who are fans of this show. Maybe this is why Shout Factory has yet to announce the 5th season DVD of Hazel. They are all excited and busy with the complete series of Dobie Gillis and have no desire to be bothered with anything else.

It's not yet listed on the Shout Factory website.
Right now Amazon has it for $97.99 (list price is $139.99)
Wonder how much further it will come down before the release date.

I hope you're right and that HAZEL won't be far behind. These two are what I'm looking most forward to on DVD in 2013.

I'm not really a fan of Shout Factory. They have released several good old shows on DVD, but there are a lot of careless errors on their DVD sets. And sometimes edited episodes end up on their DVD's. They need a quality control department badly. Now that they are all gung ho over their Dobie Gillis release, no telling when they will get around to releasing S5 of Hazel. I imagine they will probably get around to it eventually, we just have to wait and see what happens. On the other hand, since this is Shout Factory we're talking about, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they abandon the show and leave the 5th season unreleased.
Dobie Gillis is a loud and crazy show. There is so much dialog, everyone is talking at a frantic pace and nothing anyone says ever makes any sense. Watching the episodes on TV, it's like the entire cast was high on speed when the shows were filmed.

It is now available to pre-order on Amazon, which I did yesterday (you can save 25 dollars or so by pre-ordering). I am really looking forward to this one, I have not seen an episode of the program since Nick at Nite was airing it back in the early 1980's. Great show!!

This was one DVD set that was missing from my collection. I am glad I got it now.
