The world of sitcoms is a shaky situation at best. Most of the time, the simpler a sitcom is, the more popular it becomes. This is the only way I can explain the success of Two Broke Girls and the continued struggles of shows like Community and Parks and Recreation. Sometimes, things don't work out the way the creators of the show intended, but in the shark filled waters of network TV, shows have to be open to changing at a moment's notice.
