I wonder why Redd Foxx never guest starred on GT he was well known actor in the 70's and comedian, he could have brought some great and memorable lines if he was on this show.

His show went on at the time Good Times was on except for 1977-79. He was doing a variety show at the time. Not a bad idea though, I would have love to see a Norman Lear star crossover to another Lear show.

One was NBC and the other was a CBS show so no crossover was possible. Now a guest appearance as himself was definitely possible
