I don't think she slept in her bottle after they were married.

In the 60s, they couldn't really be too obvious about it. They insinuated that Tony occasionally spent time with her IN the bottle, by a scene at the end of the wedding episode. They were both in robes. They also showed more scenes with Jeannie in civilian clothes in the bedroom.

yeah, i remember them in the bottle at the end of the wedding episode. that was pretty obvious. but after that i was trying to think if they ever showed her sleeping in the bottle again. i don't think they did

so they must have implied that she slept in the bedroom

After they got married I don't remember her even being in her bottle that much.

I know in the later movies she goes into her bottle and it is covered with dust and cobwebs on the inside, implying she hasn't been in it in ages.

She even forgot that Genies can't escape from corked bottles when her sister traps her in it.

In Tony's dream during "Hurricane Jeannie" in S5, where Dr. Bellows found out the truth about Jeannie's powers, Jeannie's bottle was broken, and Tony told her it was ok, since she did not need it anymore. That implied to me that they always slept together after they were married, though they were never seen in bed together.

Thanks to my "need" for grabbing screenshots of Jeannie rather profusely, I tend to remember the bits everyone else seems to forget from "simply" watching the show ;)

And so, there was one other episode where they spent at least the evening in the bottle (and probably overnight.) That is, "An Astronaut in Sheep's Clothing", when, after hearing the goat eating papers on the writing desk, Tony says he doesn't care what that sound is, and the two of them lean back for some necking as the scene fades out :)

Now, as for Jeannie being in the bottle after they got married, it continued to happen, plus she kept it clean, what with the only example I can recall with her vacuuming inside it (beginning of "Jeannie and the Curious Kid"). Rewatch the following episodes and pay attention to seeing her in her bottle after their marriage:

"Never Put a Genie on a Budget" - Jeannie only says that she will remain in her bottle, I think when she was talking to Tony in his office. Or, I'm thinking of another episode as there is no visual evidence.

"Jeannie and the Curious Kid" (as mentioned above)
"An Astronaut in Sheep's Clothing" (as mentioned above)
"Hurricane Jeannie" - shown only at the top of the bottle, but includes past scenes with her inside
"One Jeannie Beats Four of a Kind" - I think this is the one where Jeannie says she'll stay in her bottle. I don't have the episodes handy to verify this or the other one, only a vague memory of her staying in her bottle when someone is around other than Tony
"My Master, the Chili King" - Fans' most hated episode, and yet she smokes into her bottle in order to find her camelbank and dig around for more of her gold coin stash. There's an implication that she smokes back into it to find more, but it's vague and has to do with her going back into the kitchen to get Arvel more gold.

I hope that helps. I'll re-watch the iffy choices above to confirm which one I'm thinking of, even if it's only a line of dialogue and not a scene of "proof." :wave:
