I recently re-watched the whole series on DVD in order (I was extremely happy to find a good deal on the set). :) I was really surprised by how many episodes Arthur didn't have much of a part in. When I first watched the series as it aired and in syndication, Arthur seemed to have a much bigger part. I definitely preferred the episodes that featured him. Without him, the show was still great, but his character made it stand out a little more from a typical relationship sitcom.

I liked the episodes with Arthur too, not sure why they didn't use him in all the episodes, especially since he lived with them.

I just saw the episode "Best Man". I just can't get over Arthur's childish behaviour over steak or fish. Seriously who behaves like that? It's this kind of ongoing "spoilt brat" attitude that ruins the show for me. Seriously just be greatful you were invited in the first place.
