Late night TV isn’t generally kind to Lindsay Lohan — which may be why the actress hasn’t done a formal interview there (or anywhere else) since her Liz & Dick promotional tour last November.

Happily, Lohan’s long absence from the airwaves will end Tuesday, April 9, when the Mean Girls star will stop by the "Late Show" to promote her upcoming appearance on Charlie Sheen’s "Anger Management".

Lohan hasn’t appeared on David Letterman’s couch since May of 2007, shortly before Georgia Rule‘s theatrical release and her first DUI arrest.

i was being facetious - although one could argue that she didn't really "show up" for SNL either...
