It's been ages since I've seen it, so the details are a little sketchy, but it took place in a huge swamp, I believe it was actually a bayou or something. A couple had been killed while sexing it up in a car, and one guy who lived on the bayou was a suspect, but they never had enough evidence to convict him. Then years later on his death bed, he told someone about how he knew what happened and related a story that involved someone else as the murderer.

Am I the only one that remembers this? LOL

was it possibly the guys wife who was the murderer?

I honestly don't remember. I saw the episode a million years ago x_x I THINK I remember something about how the swamp had raised years after the incident happened and thus they could no longer pull up further evidence.

Wonder what ever happened to Audrey Moate? Was she murdered or did she flee? They have her on the Charley Project site but due to how far back the case happened, they don't have an age progression of her.
