I agree it seems fishy, especially under the circumstances (Dale helping his friend's wife move out and away without his knowledge). There was also all those pictures of Dale, his wife, and the friend cut up and scattered around the shop along with .22 rounds, and Dale's wife finding that gun in the nightdrop at her video store. I just wonder how the phone call fits in--it was made from a stolen cell phone, and you'd think they'd be able to either link that to Dale's friend or rule it out pretty quickly.

I do think there's a chance, but it seems slight in light of the fact that there's already someone close to Dale who had a motive to do him harm and was engaged in suspicious activity in the weeks just before and right after his disappearance.

Just watched this case for the first time. His friend had to have been involved somehow. There is no possible reason to be taking down missing person flyers (especially of your friend) unless you have something to hide.
