Being that I think Kirk Cameron is one of the biggest nerds on the planet, I thought this episode was hilarious. During his brief stay with the Tanners, he got spanked by Kimmy Gibbler....thrice, ignored by Michelle, and tackled by D.J. If that isn't embarrasing for a supposed teen idol, i don't know what is.

I also thought it was lame how he was complaining that D.J. tackled him, talking about "pass interference." He was practically a grown man by that point, whining about how he got tackled by a girl. It looked real pathetic that he got all butt-hurt about it. He should have manned up.

Personally, I never understood all the hype about him. Guy had velcro hair. What's attractive about that?

This was actually one of my favorite episodes and I loved the sweet ending moment between DJ and her cousin Steve (Candace and Kirk), but I agree that Kirk Cameron is no longer one of my favorite people.

Agreed.

I also thought it was funny how he was forced to sleep in that alcove, which is nothing more than a tiny nook at the end of the living room. No walls, no door, no privacy whatsoever. I think the bed is either a couch or a day-bed, not a conventional bed.

Here's an interesting note: Kirk Cameron's future wife guest starred in the very next episode: The "Seven Month Itch" two-parter, playing Jesse's girlfriend at the time.
