Sean Snow 08-11-2001, 04:27 PM The Independant Station I mentioned also airs "Life with Elizabeth", a 1953-1955 sitcom w/ Betty White! Also, they also air "The Andy Griffith Show". They seem to be into classics, because they show action-adventure show "Salty" from the 50s and show B&W cartoons for time fillers.

I will prob., but the station that airs them has at times bad sound. They can't afford good movies to air...(But then again, was "Lola" a bad movie? Sort of MTM-ish)
mrkoontz 08-12-2001, 09:48 PM Any chance one of you that live in a town that shows benson, would like to tape a few eps? I will tape eps of anything in detroit if anyone is interested

This is as of right now. This may change soon.
Many of my local stations in the Southern Ontario/Western New York Area run the usual suspects, you know, stuff like Seinfeld, Home Improvement, Suddenly Susan, 3rd Rock, Roseanne, etc, etc, ad nauseum but there are a couple of exceptions, that being specialty channels PRIME and CTS, which are more into the older classics. PRIME used to have a stronger lineup, but now concentrates on shows mainly from the mid-70s to mid-80s while CTS has really stepped up their lineup with some long-forgotten gems from the late 60s. Here's a rough look at what they've got so far. I'll try to have a more detailed and accurate schedule out next week, which will hopefully include the new digital channels that we're all scrambling to get that begin airing on Friday:
PRIME
Weekdays
Who's The Boss?
All in the Family
Golden Girls
MASH
Roseanne
Saturdays
Beverly Hillbillies
Petticoat Junction
Hogan's Heroes
McHale's Navy
Taxi
Benny Hill
Sundays
Same as weekdays, except Cheers is also included.
CTS
12:30 PM Leave It To Beaver
3:00 The Flying Nun
3:30 Family Ties
4:00 The Lucy Show
7:00 Family Affair
7:30 Happy Days
Let's see anybody beat that lineup!
