OK so i understand that Alice was paid to be a full time maid and 24/7 slave to the Brady family but why in the world would the Brady's take a house maid with them to a deserted island while they were on vacation in Hawaii thats strange, maybe the Brady's did not trust her alone in their house for a few days by herself.

Didn't Mike and Carol refer to Alice as one of the family at some point? If so then why wouldn't they include her on the trip? I seriously doubt not trusting her in the house alone had anything to do with it and she probably would've gotten bored very quick without the Brady's in the house.

I agree. Mike and Carol loved Alice like one of the family. Surely, they trusted her completely. They weren't afraid to leave her in the house alone. Plus, I'm sure Mike and Carol wanted Alice along so she could help with the kids. They also included her on that Grand Canyon trip before that.

Well it might be kinda risky to leave a housekeeper in a house alone by herself you got criminals roaming the niehborhood, she could not defend herself against robbers unless she had pepper spray lol

Hawaii could hardly be described as a deserted island!

You will notice that Alice is in every episode so in the context of the show it would have been strange if they hadn't taken her.

If you apply normal logic to the BB then you'll go nuts!

What did they do with the girls' room before they moved in?

Why did they keep the doghouse after getting rid of the dog?

Why didn't Bobby and Cindy wear their bathing suits over to the neighbors' house and take them off when they got there instead of hiding their nakedness under robes?

For that matter, why didn't they have their own pool?

They would never have gotten rid of Tiger. I remember in the episode where Tiger ran away for a while, Bobby mentions that Tiger is older than he is. And Bobby was about 9 or 10. So Tiger was of advanced age even then. At some point after that, he must have died of old age....OFFSCREEN. But yeah, they did keep his dog house which I guess was sentimental to the family.

I think viewers were supposed to think Tiger was still around, even though you never saw him.

According to Brady Bunch sources the real reason they kept Tiger's doghouse after he had been written out of the show.

One day, a set light fell and burned a hole in the AstroTurf (artificial grass for the backyard set.) The production crew put the doghouse over the hole to cover it up!

Was Tiger fired from the show or did he just leave on his own accord?

He was probably a diva and made too many demands on Sherwood Schwartz.

I would like to think the Maid would want to stay home alone for a few days by herself away from the eccentric Brady family lol
