Hi.

In the 1970s and the 1980s, there was a film actress named Marilyn Hassett. She was most famous for portraying Jill Kinmont in the "Other Side of the Mountain" films.

I recently heard that she now lives in Los Angeles and works in stage acting there. Is this true? Is she performing in anything now?

I may be going to Los Angeles for a few days in the near future, and I would love to catch one of her performances.

I LOVE The Other Side of the Mountain movies, and feel bad that Marilyn wasn't able to achieve stardom or at least a more consistent screen career. Her last role, per imdb, was in the 2008 short film, Bad High. I can't find anything about any current stage appearances - sorry. :(

She also did guest spots on such TV shows as Emergency!, Movin' On, The Six Million Dollar Man, Hotel and Murder, She Wrote.

She was in the horrendously bad 1987 flick Body Count with Dick Sargent and James Avery. And the not too bad 1989 horror anthology Rock-A-Die Baby also with Dick Sargent.
