"Golden Girls" was great, but of course was mostly for female audiences so I found most of its appeal for me in the Zbornak character as well.I also enjoyed Herb Edleman's portrayal of Murray the Cop in the "Odd Couple" movie which was played by Al Molinaro on the TV series.

Stan: "do I smell waffles?"
All: "No!"
Stan: "Could I smell waffles?"

haha one of my fav episodes with Stan in it is when he and Dorothy have to pretend they are still married for the sake of Sophia's brother Angelo. He is a priest (or so everyone thinks!) and doesn't believe in divorce.

Dorothy: "You're not getting into this bed Stanley!"
Stan: "Where am I supposed to sleep?"
Dorothy: "On the floor like any dog!"

There was an episode where they start courting again and Dorothy finds herself falling in love before Stan dumps her for a younger woman-I'm sure GG veterans will know to which episode I'm alluding.

Yes that's the episode but Stan had wined and dined her before we knew the ending.

I can't remember who played her. Wasn't there a reference in the storyline to some air hostess Stan met on a trip to Hawaii..I can't recall fully as it's 20 years since I watched the show.

It was the episode where Blanche was dating Stan, and Dorothy went to confront them at the hotel room. Only thing was, it wasn't Blanche who popped out of the covers, it was the dingie airline stewardess.

Wasn't there an episode where Stan came to the house telling Dorothy that they owed an amount of back tax from the years they were married and they had to go to an accountant's to sort it out? I can't remember much else about it..

Stan was also married to the woman played by Eleanor Donahue. There was the episode where Dorothy met her in the hotel bar, before the wedding. I'm not sure if he married Chrissy, the airline stewardess, but if he did, he was married 3 times.

Stan (wearing Dorothy's pink robe walks into the kitchen to ask the girls a question.)
Stan: Which one of Stan's Angels forgot to pick up my dry cleaning?
That was from the episode when Stan has heart surgery and recovers at the girl's house.

I love this episode, too! My favorite exchange while they are pretending to be married for Uncle Angelo's visit:

Stan: Hurry back, snookums.

Dorothy: My feet have wings, barf bag...

I think that's when Stanley was on the floor in Dorothy's room singing "I've Got A Crush On You, sweetie pie..." Either that song or "Embraceable You." Sophia came in just in time to break it up!
