View Full Version : Stanley Zbornak MikeLutton 03-27-2013, 01:58 AM the episodes with him was the funniest he was great had some good chemistry with the 4 girls watched one where he went out with Blanche lol Mr. Drucker 03-27-2013, 09:53 AM "Golden Girls" was great, but of course was mostly for female audiences so I found most of its appeal for me in the Zbornak character as well.I also enjoyed Herb Edleman's portrayal of Murray the Cop in the "Odd Couple" movie which was played by Al Molinaro on the TV series. MikeLutton 04-06-2013, 03:45 AM he was good on there so funny kind bummed he and dourthy never got back together what are your favorite stan zbornack episodes lauracrook 06-21-2013, 09:42 PM  Stan: "do I smell waffles?" All: "No!" Stan: "Could I smell waffles?" haha one of my fav episodes with Stan in it is when he and Dorothy have to pretend they are still married for the sake of Sophia's brother Angelo. He is a priest (or so everyone thinks!) and doesn't believe in divorce. Dorothy: "You're not getting into this bed Stanley!" Stan: "Where am I supposed to sleep?" Dorothy: "On the floor like any dog!"          MikeLutton 06-30-2013, 02:55 AM and when he keeps coming over with get rich schemes Sophia keeps dissing him my favorite scene one when Sophia got sick and he got mad told off the hospital doctors who wouldn't check on her. Steve_uk 06-30-2013, 06:37 AM he was good on there so funny kind bummed he and dourthy never got back together what are your favorite stan zbornack episodes There was an episode where they start courting again and Dorothy finds herself falling in love before Stan dumps her for a younger woman-I'm sure GG veterans will know to which episode I'm alluding. MikeLutton 07-02-2013, 03:20 PM mean when she comes to the hotel room, to talk to him and some little blonde girl comes to say she want him back, and he decides be with her instead is that it Steve_uk 07-02-2013, 03:48 PM mean when she comes to the hotel room, to talk to him and some little blonde girl comes to say she want him back, and he decides be with her instead is that it Yes that's the episode but Stan had wined and dined her before we knew the ending. MikeLutton 07-02-2013, 03:53 PM oh ok from what I remember Is it the same chick that was on Dallas Audrey landers dourthy here is to great sex and the dumb blonde that not going get any lol Steve_uk 07-02-2013, 03:59 PM oh ok from what I remember Is it the same chick that was on Dallas Audrey landers dourthy here is to great sex and the dumb blonde that not going get any lol I can't remember who played her. Wasn't there a reference in the storyline to some air hostess Stan met on a trip to Hawaii..I can't recall fully as it's 20 years since I watched the show. MikeLutton 07-02-2013, 04:31 PM yeah he dumped dourthy for a airline stewardess he mat on a plane to Hawaii n now live on maui McGillicuddy 07-02-2013, 06:17 PM yeah he dumped dourthy for a airline stewardess he mat on a plane to Hawaii n now live on maui It was the episode where Blanche was dating Stan, and Dorothy went to confront them at the hotel room. Only thing was, it wasn't Blanche who popped out of the covers, it was the dingie airline stewardess. MikeLutton 07-02-2013, 06:57 PM oh ok I remember now that was funny I must of been thinking of two different episodes Steve_uk 07-03-2013, 03:45 PM Wasn't there an episode where Stan came to the house telling Dorothy that they owed an amount of back tax from the years they were married and they had to go to an accountant's to sort it out? I can't remember much else about it.. MikeLutton 07-03-2013, 04:35 PM was that the one where he bought an apartment building it was condemned but they had live there for a week or something as tenants r is that another one McGillicuddy 07-03-2013, 05:28 PM Stan was also married to the woman played by Eleanor Donahue. There was the episode where Dorothy met her in the hotel bar, before the wedding. I'm not sure if he married Chrissy, the airline stewardess, but if he did, he was married 3 times. Wawwie 07-30-2013, 11:57 PM Stan (wearing Dorothy's pink robe walks into the kitchen to ask the girls a question.) Stan: Which one of Stan's Angels forgot to pick up my dry cleaning? That was from the episode when Stan has heart surgery and recovers at the girl's house. 80sTrivia 08-01-2013, 06:49 AM  haha one of my fav episodes with Stan in it is when he and Dorothy have to pretend they are still married for the sake of Sophia's brother Angelo. He is a priest (or so everyone thinks!) and doesn't believe in divorce. I love this episode, too! My favorite exchange while they are pretending to be married for Uncle Angelo's visit: Stan: Hurry back, snookums. Dorothy: My feet have wings, barf bag... Either that song or "Embraceable You." Sophia came in just in time to break it up! Steve_uk 08-03-2013, 10:01 AM Any opinions on Stan's toupee..I thought it was rather smart myself..
