There has been plenty of discussion about parts of Barry Williams book, GROWING UP BRADY, and Maureen McCormick's book. Revealing tidbits have been shared concerning Florence Henderson, Robert Reed, and a few of the Brady kids. But, it seems that nobody has shared anything about Ann B. Davis---assuming that there are little details about her contained within those books too.

Now, I am of Ms. Davis and so, I'm interested to know what the cast and crew had to say (if anything) about her, in their memoirs.

I do plan on getting a Brady book and reading it cover-to-cover eventually, but in the meantime, I would really appreciate it if someone would please let me know what those books say about Ann B. Davis.

Thanks.

Susan Olsen has a few stories about Ann in her book, "Love to Love you Bradys."
It mostly focuses on the 1977 spin-off variety hour. I do remember reading that Ann did not care for Rip Taylor, and Rip said she was rude to him. Also, other cast and crew members said that she was short-tempered and liked to keep to herself and not mingle with the rest of the crew. Also, one time Ann was in the bleachers and overheard someone making a comment about acting, and Ann gave her a piece of her mind. Even Geri (Fake Jan) said she couldn't remember having a conversation with Ann the whole time they were doing the show.
I recommend this book. Contains a lot more gossip from crew members who worked with the Bradys on the variety show. For example, Florence Henderson used to crack jokes about Robert Reed's sexuality behind his back which some people thought were inappropriate, and Maureen didn't show up for work one day because she was off on one of her cocaine binges, and the producer really ripped into her because it cost them mega $$$ and basically humiliated her in front of the cast, bringing her to tears.

that's surprising about Florence Henderson because she was good friends with Robert Reed.
