PZelda 03-22-2013, 09:06 PM We got our abnormally high post counts from posting like crazy on the Random board way back in its heyday (prior to 2006, I think). I've been here almost 11 years now and if you view all my posts, you'll see I don't post like I used to. It's a lot for me if I post here on SO 10 times a month. yankeesrj12 03-22-2013, 09:38 PM it helps if you post twice on Tuesdays. Why is that? Family Ties Forever! 03-22-2013, 10:55 PM  Why is that? I think he was joking. There are people on here that have posted once or a few times that have contributed more to the forum than some people with hundreds of posts. icecream 03-23-2013, 01:31 AM I'm one of those 524 people. I'm surprised that number isn't a lot higher, out of 55,000+ members less than 600 of them have a thousand posts or more. Thank you! I'm number 272, if I've counted correctly. The Flying Dutchmans 03-23-2013, 09:34 AM I got a pretty good spot. I am # 28957, or it might be 289570. I'm not sure. The truth is, I really don't know and don't care what number I am. I am here for fun not to count posts. Furienna 03-24-2013, 08:24 PM I am still striving to become my dream of being "forum legend"! I'm almost to 16,000! How many posts do I need to achieve my goal? According to my research, you become a "forum celebrity" at 25 000 posts. So that's your next goal. Penny Lane 03-24-2013, 09:04 PM According to my research, you become a "forum celebrity" at 25 000 posts. So that's your next goal. That's what I figured. It will probably take me another 10 years to get there!  Penny Lane 03-24-2013, 09:19 PM I was just thinking. Shouldn't being an active member of Sitcoms Online for almost 12 years count for something?:happyface Just kidding!:p  PZelda 03-25-2013, 10:39 AM Yea we used to go through hundreds of posts every few days back then. I miss these days! My Space had just started to fade away, Facebook was going strong, Twitter hadn't really caught on yet, and Reddit and Tumblr weren't around yet. There are probably 20 more social media options that an old fart like me hasn't heard of yet. |
