Louise finds out from a moving man they are tearing down her old building so she decides to go to harlem alone and think about her days as a child living in that building at NIGHT TIME in a abandon building
Then George somehow finds her in Harlem inside the abandon building when he didn't know anything about the location of the building she grew up in. So how was he supposed to find this place while riding in a taxi.?

Louise was a well-to-do woman with a lot of fancy jewelry and a purse full of cash hanging out in a bad neighborhood...at night....ALONE. Dumb move. No woman should be hanging out in abandoned apartment buildings in Harlem all alone. She put herself in a really bad situation that made her a potential target. She's lucky she didn't get mugged or worse.

And why would she care anyway?? LOL She had a new life so why was she so bothered that a building she used to live in was being turn down?

I'm sure she must have had old pictures of the Harlem apartment. I don't think she should have went to Harlem by herself. It wasn't smart. If she really insisted on going, she should have brought a man with her like maybe Lionel.

That episode seemed more suited for season 1 or 2 when they had just moved east side. Season 7 Harlem should have been well out of their system.

It's all about the childhood memories. About 10 years ago, I found out the house I lived in as a child in the 1960's was torn down. It was an old house in need of repairs, the owner decided it was better to tear it down and build a new house. I felt bad about it, a part of my past was now gone, I have fond memories from living in that house. But that's how life is, it's a continuous circle. The old eventually has to make room for the new.

But she would have never known about it if the guy didn't mention it because she wasn't going to have any reason to go back to Harlem. I just figured she was so far removed from Harlem at the time that it wouldn't even matter
