I've been watching Family Matters on BET and was surprised to see that alot of the season 3 episodes don't have the syndicated voice-over at the end of the credits. "Family Matters is a Miller-Boyett Production... etc." Did these episodes always not use the voice-over or is this something only on BET?

Could these be differently edited syndication cuts, using the network masters?

One thing I learned about syndication cuts, is that there are several different kinds for certain shows, from different outlets (local, cable, etc.)

BET probably only has the local syndicated cuts which are the cuts I never seen because I only watched family matters on

1. ABC
2. TBS
3. ABC Family
4. Nick@Nite

Never ever have I seen family matters air in my local area

I've watched it on ABC Family and Nick@Nite (TBS as well, but that was so long ago I hardly remember it) and they seem to be making the same edits that Nick@Nite had. Nick always seemed to air ads over the end credits so I couldn't tell if the voice-over was present or not.

I do know that BET edited out the closing theme for Different strokes so that's probably why we don't hear the voice over

Well most episodes have the voice-over. All that I've seen of season 1 and 2 had it. I'd say most of season 3 has it, but there are quite a few without it.
