I refuse to believe that. I feel if a season 5 had been made, Susan Harris would have righted the wrongs and made season 4 a dream, a la Dallas.:D

DANNY. I didn't hate Jody...I loved him...sometimes. I thought he was a real cutie and a great son and father. Once in awhile, Billy Crystal, who was actually a comedian and not a dramatic actor, sort of 'overacted' in a few scenes. For example, when Danny in season 2, when Danny approached Jody about needing Burt and Mary to get back together, Jody said something like, "so you can sleep? Noble Danny." I don't believe Crystal played that line well..it seemed a bit too much. As if Jody would ever think Danny would only want his mom and Burt back for selfish reasons. I just didn't like some of Crystal's dramatic acting. Otherwise, I loved Jody, especially when he met Wendy. "You have fingers!" Brilliant!!

However, DANNY is my favorite Dallas boy. I always had a crush on him (I hated how they made him gradually stupider and stupider) and LOVED he and Elaine. I also loved he and Burt's relationship and LOVED his scenes with his Ma, especially Danny's wedding scenes. Wow!
