Apolo Anton Ohno To Host GSN’s "Minute To Win It"

Decorated Olympic athlete/TV personality/"Dancing With the Stars" champion Apolo Anton Ohno will be the host of GSN’s version of "Minute To Win It".

The cable network is producing 40 original episodes of the game show, which originated on NBC with host Guy Fieri. It is slated to premiere in summer 2013.

In each one-hour episode, competitors face 10 challenges that escalate in level of difficulty using everyday household items for a $250,000 prize.

I actually liked this version of Minute To Win It because it was fun to watch and the Apolo Anton Ohno version of Minute To Win It had more stunts and was great. I actually started watching GSN's Minute To Win It by accident when I would watch the weekend reruns of The Chase and after The Chase ended Minute To Win It would follow and I found the show fun to watch and Mom even liked this version of Minute To Win It because she had a mega crush on Apolo Ohno and she thought it was neat. This is another show that GSN did a wrong job of cancelling because it seemed to be a huge monster hit just like The Chase and could've had a third season if GSN could've done more promotion on it

Hi, Bestie! Sounds like you have a crush on Apollo! Better not let Chris Harrison find out! I liked Apollo as a host of MTWI too. I was surprised because I thought he was just an athlete. But he was funny and he kept the pace of the show going. Do you know if he is going to host any other shows?
