Keck's Exclusives First Look: "Dallas" Brings Back Another Vet
Mar 11, 2013
by William Keck
When an accident jeopardizes her unborn twins while "Dallas" dad Cliff Barnes is out of town, Ewing outcast Pamela Rebecca (Julie Gonzalo) finds herself in need of some TLC. What better time for her MIA mom, Afton Cooper, to return?
"Afton's relationship with her daughter has been strained for a long time," says Audrey Landers, a "Dallas" cast member in the '80s who guest stars on the March 25 episode of TNT's reboot.
Landers, 56, is happy to report that "Afton has done well for herself — married, living outside of Dallas and still singing for fun."
The one bummer for the actress: She didn't get to reunite with her former on-screen paramour Ken Kercheval. "Cliff is conspicuously missing from this whole event," she says.
"I reference that he's away on business, and you learn that we're in touch but not necessarily in a positive way."
The big question is, Will Pamela's babies survive the emergency so Afton can become a grandma?
By the end of the hour, says Landers, we'll find out the status of Pamela's babies...or baby. Uh-oh!
