prestige 03-10-2013, 09:58 AM :( The only episode that brought me to tears is when the Old man the friend of Michael who did not have any family that came to die at the Evans house on New Years Eve, that episode brings me to tears all the time, :( :( :( :( :(, was there an episode that brought you to tears?
Neutronman67 03-10-2013, 09:32 PM Almost every episode of Good Times brought me to tears, this is the only show i no that almost every episode 99 percent of them has a sad ending just when you hope something good happens to the people in this show bang something suddenly bad happens to the evans, yeah i felt sorry for the lonely 90 year old man that randomly died in the chair he must have had a sad life he looked depressed whats strange was that he wanted to die with a group of strangers.

What's stranger than that is when he had his bed delivered to the Evans home
MikeLutton 03-11-2013, 12:35 AM why they call it Good times there was barley any Good Times on the show lol

By how the theme song implies, it's like being thankful and grateful for the Good Times, and prolly ppl like the Evans find good times in things most of us take for granted, like just "keeping above water", layoffs that are ONLY temporary.
Thats the feeling I get anyway.
I think the later episodes had more of a positive feel to them.
Neutronman67 03-11-2013, 05:50 PM They should have called the show Good Times and Bad Times, nothing good ever happened to the people in this show except maybe the last episode lol

Tap Dancer 11-01-2013, 08:27 PM The old man kinda creeps me out. Does his face look weird to anyone else? I've always thought his skin had a blue tint to it. I guess it could be the film or something, but no one else's faces looked weird.

He was homeless and old which explains why he looked the way he did

Didn't he live in a nursing home? I think Michael said he stopped by to talk whenever he saw him outside of the home, or something like that.
