View Full Version : What has been happening with Brad?
*ROGER* 03-08-2013, 01:14 AM ...but my depression is really getting the better of me lately. I'm on anti-depressants, and they helped for awhile, but they just don't seem to be "doing the trick" anymore.
I could really use some affirmation, encouragement, and even humor. I'm barely hanging on; trying to keep my head above the water.
In other words, help!
Does anybody know if Brad has been okay? He hasn't posted for a couple of months and I am concerned.
Vahan 03-08-2013, 01:54 AM Apparently, his twitter account is still active.

I like Brad. I don't agree with everything he says, but I respect his views very much.
*ROGER* 03-08-2013, 01:55 AM I liked reading Brad's post. He seems like a pretty cool guy. I hope he's okay.

I don't know how to do the twitter. Maybe he has a yahoo or Hotmail?
Fleet 03-08-2013, 03:04 AM He does post on Facebook a lot.

Okay, I've been worried about him because he goes through depression sometimes, and I haven't seen any posts from him here in a couple of months. I know he has a young son and a wife, so I hope they are all okay, too.
dlemond 03-08-2013, 02:57 PM I spoke with Brad and he gave me this message:
I've been very ill the past several months, and it's very hard for me to get to a computer. It's easier for me to post on Twitter or Facebook, because I can easily post from my bed or the hospital via my iPhone, but in my sometimes fatigued and confused state, posting from my phone on Sitcoms can be arduous and frustrating as it isn't yet mobile-friendly. I hope to be back soon, but for now, I have to focus on my health.

MrCleveland 03-08-2013, 05:14 PM I messaged him today or yesterday, I like his taste of music.

Thanks. I am relieved to know that he is focusing on his health. And please tell him that he is being thought of and wished a speedy recovery.
Thanks again for the update.

You might be thinking of Brad Russ. That's a different Brad.

Oh ok, yeah that's who I was talking about.
Dr. John Becker 03-09-2013, 08:50 PM Brad is a great guy with a lot on his plate right now. I'm sure your concern means a lot to him.
Hi gang,
Despite a nasty bout of insomnia, I'm feeling okay at the moment--better than I have in weeks--so I thought I'd drop by. I'd like to thank Michael for bringing this thread to my attention, and everyone else who has been worried about me. Your genuine concern for my health and well-being is touching and heartwarming. Love is an even better medicine than laughter, and that which I felt when I first read this thread really lifted my spirits.
I'd like to apologize for worrying anyone. I didn't maliciously vanish without a trace; it just happened as posting from my phone became more difficult and frustrating as I'd go in and out of confusion and fatigue. Also, I tend to become elusive (online and off) when I'm not feeling well. Still, I should have known better, especially given what I've posted about depression, than to pull a Chuck Cunningham. Sorry about that.
Without getting into too much detail, it's been a pretty trying and scary six months or so. I don't like to talk about it because a.) I don't want to be a pity case, and b.) there are people--on this very board, even--who have it way worse than I. But I'm cautiously optimistic that I'm going to be fine. I hope to return to posting on the board on a regular basis soon, but until then, I'll still be reachable via Facebook and Twitter.
You guys are awesome. Thanks again.
Brad

Hey, Brad!
I wish the best for you and I hope you feel better soon. :)
Hi Brad,
I'm sorry for what you have been going thru in recent months. We're here for you and thinking of you. I hope that we are able to upgrade and offer a mobile theme in upcoming weeks. I had tried a couple different mobile themes, but none of them worked. Hopefully you are back here being a regular at some point when you are up to it. Stay strong.
Penny Lane 03-11-2013, 02:05 PM Hi Brad! We miss you!
