I wonder if an episode of about malcolm jamal warner guest starring as Theo Huxtable this could have worked, its about him going on a date with DJ Tanner Theo and his friends take a field trip to San Francisco they go to a musical theater he accidently bumps into DJ and they both schedule a date to the movies but only if he agrees to meet her father.
