This is just like the IMDb boards -- there's a lot of comment over there regarding York's looks. And it becomes tiresome.

The original casting for Bewitched was perfect in my opinion - Sam, Darrin, Larry, Louise, Abner, Gladys -- why not leave it at that?

Yes I can believe that a good-looking woman could fancy an unattractive man -- you can see it any day of the week. There's no explaining attraction. As the song says, "Pretty women out walking with gorillas down on my street." Not unrealistic at all. A top ad executive? Why not. Besides, I wouldn't call Sheila gorgeous. I could name dozens of sitcom women I'd place above her in a minute...!

I have to admitt that DOES get pretty old. It sounds like you have a personal stake in it, I DUNNO what it would be, but it sounds like you do.. IF you're this same person.

As I said at IMDB, I don't consider Dick York to be an attractive person, BUT, who am I to say who does or doesn't have the right to be with whome, or who deserves or doesn't deserve to be with whome.

In real life, yes I have seen attractive ppl with unattractive ppl. And not everyone sees everything the same, Maybe Samantha thought Darrin was attractive. There are ppl that most would consider ugly but I'm like, "Hey he or she is pretty cute!"

That is such a misconception that a lot of ppl have, just b/c someone LOOKS a certain way, they ALWAYS only want to be with a CERTAIN type of person, and as you said in REAL LIFE you do see unattractive ppl with attractive ppl.
