I believe she was on the chunky side when she was on the show. So it sounds like she is heavier

She was only chubby in season 2, season 3 she had lost weight and kept it off. After ADW she had guest stared on Martin and Living Single and she was still thin.

I don't care what she looks like today, I just want to see the interview.

I want to see that interview as well. By the time season four came around, Charnele did get thinner. I remember Mr. Gaines saying "Who shrink Kimberly Reese?" LOL.

Come to think of it, I shouldnt have even said anything about her weight or posted the website to see the interview on how much she weighs because I would be upset if someone commented about me gaining weight. Charnelle Brown is a sweet person and it was wrong of me to comment if she gained weight or not. How much she weighs has nothing to do with her good personality and how much she weighs is none of my business.

I would be offended myself if someone said something about my weight. Anyways, it was great to see you in a recent interview and I am sorry if my comments sounded mean spirited or offensive. Your a great actress and you were great as Kim Reese on A Different World.

Yes it is me. And you have nothing to be sorry about!! You are free to voice how you feel. And again, thank you for your kind words regarding my work. And it didn't offend. Unlike some people, the truth is always welcomed. I have gained a lot of weight and it's so annoying. But, like I said, I am working on it. So keep speaking truth. Truth only hurts when one is in denial!!!LOL

It is great to speak to you Charnelle. What was it like working on A Different World? IMO, I think it was a great series. It portrayed college students in an intelligent way and could be funny in a clean way. The shows now a days have too many mean spirited jokes and only talk about sex and drugs. It would be great to have you back in a regular series. One of my favorite episodes is when your character (Kim Reese) was having too many things to do (choir club, swim practice, college and work) and she has the one scene where she dreams she is operating on Dwayne Wayne and she gets the answer wrong on what part to fix and the characters start singing: the transssssverseptum!!!! lol. Another favorite episode is when Kim Reese has a hard time portraying the mammy. Your performance in that episode was superb.
