Does anyone know the stretch of highway the Clampetts are travelling on during the opening theme?:rolleyes:

Interestingly, I was in Beverly Hills this past week. I turned North on Beverly Drive a few blocks North of Santa Monica Blvd. I immediately felt that the street looked familiar and in a second realized, "Hey, this is the street the Beverly Hillbillies drive down." Look at it on Google Maps and you'll see that the street still has a double yellow stripe down the middle just like in the opening theme.

So, I wouldn't bet my life, but I'd bet a good chunk of change that they are driving down North Beverly Drive, North of Santa Monica Boulevard.

Interesting...thank you. After viewing Google Maps my bet is with yours...North Beverly Drive, perhaps travelling South between Elevado and Carmelita Ave?
