Jess is about to get a blast from her past: Dermot Mulroney is set to reprise his Season 1 role on "New Girl", TVGuide.com has confirmed.
Mulroney, who played Jess' (Zooey Deschanel) former love interest Russell, will return in an episode slated for April that's called 'First Date', as first reported by E! Online.
The father of one of Jess' students, Russell was last seen after he and Jess broke up due to a lack of passion. Could his return spell disaster for Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess' potential relationship?
