TVFactFan 02-23-2013, 10:57 PM Bologna Sandwiches:lol:
This was something my grandmom made everyday for lunch with a pickle on the side:lol:
Just found it so funny because that's all I remember eating in the 80's as a little boy and to see Jenny ask Lionel....."Do u want a bologna sandwich? was just too funny
*ROGER* 02-23-2013, 11:05 PM There's a Seinfeld episode in the 90s where George's mom makes a bunch of bologna sandwiches for George, Jerry and Kramer. George is like "MOM, NOBODY EATS BOLOGNA ANYMORE!!!"
Yes, bologna sandwiches are a very 80s and 70s type lunch. My mom packed them for my school lunch all the time. Bologna with mustard on white bread. Nowadays, I NEVER eat bologna anymore. And I would never eat white bread either.

Sonny Carson 04-14-2013, 04:09 PM I detest bologna. My dad loves the stuff though he grew up during the 60s and early 70s.

I hate balogna myself, but if you put it in a pan and fry it, WHOO-EEEE, the most delicious thing in the world (To Me that is) :eyes: . To this day and I still do this, I do NOT eat Balogna unless you fry it up. And maybe with a fried egg to go with it, goodness gracious! :props:

Never? I prefer wheat and other types myself, but white is okay once in a while...!
gidgetgrape 05-24-2013, 02:31 PM My grandma would send me and my older cousin to the grocery store for bologna, cheese and white bread in the summer. Between this and Happy Meals, I don't know how I've made it to my 30s.
caladon 05-24-2013, 02:56 PM Having grown-up during the 60's & 70's, bologna sandwiches were practically a food staple in a sack lunch; the other popular sandwich was peanut butter and jelly. Sandwich, banana and cookies or a small bag of chips.
One day, my then 4 year old daughter came into the kitchen and asked what it I was doing. I said I was making a bologna sandwich. She then said "Can I have a beeloney sandwich too?" She's been eating them ever since. That's my girl.

And yet it's not hard to find stories of health-food enthusiasts who've developed mineral deficiencies. Unless you go to extremes with your food, your heredity and exercise habits generally have more to do for your health than **shudder** actually eating something like processed meats and cheeses!
I'm not going to spend my whole life jogging and eating like a bird. If it shortens my life, so be it -- but at least I will have actually lived!!

I was mostly kidding, but I agree moderation is the key to a long life.
