Wow, $20 for a picture? That's insane! And I'm surprised that he wouldn't let you take his picture next to the car! But that's cool that you got a picture of the General Lee. I used to LOVE the Dukes of Hazard when I was in Junior high and when the General Lee was at a car show in Dallas, my best friend and I went. it was the next best thing to meeting John Schneider!

$20 is the standard price and is more if there are more than one celeb in the picture. I'd of loved to take a pic of the car alone.

Generally stars charge depending on the market that they're in at the time.

I met Butch and Pat today and each charged $20 for a signature (very standard and almost nominal in 2013) and photos with them were absolutely free. I even got a picture with both at once.

This show was about a half an hour away from the show that the OP started the thread about it. It's simply about knowing where and when to get them.

The car isn't his, which is probably why he doesn't really want to pose by it, especially if it's far away from his table where he has his merchandise set up. The car was at this show as well. It's a replica and makes the rounds quite often.

Pat was very sweet. Butch is cordial but at the end of the day "Butch is Butch." He's had his issues that are well documented.

It's cool that you got to meet him.

I met him back in 1997 at the BigAppleCon. He charged $10.00 for the signed pic. I remember asking him what he wrote on it and he said "Good Toes". I asked him why he wrote that and he said, "I don't know, I think it's funny..."

Does he still write that today?

$20.00 is not much when compared to people like William Shatner who was charging $80.00

I met Butch Patrick a few times at Chiller Theatre in New Jersey. I spoke to him about his several appearances on My Three Sons. The 2 times I met him he was very different. The first time he was sociable and friendly. The second time he was very disoriented and was late. I promised a good friend of mine who lives in the Midwest I would get an autograph for him. Butch just showed up as I was getting ready to leave. Not long after the second time he ended up in rehab.

I know he has had some personal problems and struggles with drugs and alcohol, but hopefully he is clean and sober for "one day at a time!"
