The Jeffersons rarely made references to current famous people in their episodes like Good Times. On Good Times you heard about Walter Cronkite, Debby Boone, Rona Barrett, Jesse Jackson, and aHank Aaron

I knew who Rona was when James mentioned her name.

I am certain I knew everyone they mentioned on that show. Except Crispus Attucks. I didn't know that info until Michael mentioned his name.
