This is a pretty cool lineup! I've never seen That's My Mama before but only heard good things about it so I will give it a try. This is the best Friday night lineup since TGIF.

I did not know they were showing What's Happening! If they are showing That's My Mama, they should show Baby I'm Back. Sanford and Son would go great with that lineup, but it's been aired to death on TV Land and TV One I guess.

Sanford should be added. And at some point we should see What's Happening Now

Now that TVOne has Good Times on Friday nights (at the same time!), hopefully Antenna TV will remove it and put something good in its place. A Benson, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, or Bachelor Father block from 9-11 would be nice.

It would make sense but I don't think it will happen. I think we have to blame TV One for this since someone who worked there could have found out Good times airs at 9pm on ANtenna TV

Why would they care if Good Times is on at the same time on Antenna TV? They are bigger than Antenna TV and are cable.

How often has that happened? A show on two different channels at the same time?

Probably a lot. In fact I remember Nick at Nite and TV Land did it a few times. With The Nanny or something, and they were different episodes, lol.

Wait! When you told me about the plus size nudie bar on FB, I thought you were kidding. LOL. I like the schedule, though. I just wish Flip Wilson was on it. I know that Richard Pryor had only four episodes so I can understand if it doesn't air.

I couldn't never get into Flip Wilson, maybe because I was not around in 1970. People back there didn't have many black comedies so they just enjoyed whatever they had

To me he was not funny at all

I believe he was the only black stand up comediian in 1970 which is why he was able to succeed.

Johnny Brown was on "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In" in 1970
Chelsea Brown left the show one year before.
Redd Foxx went into production for Sanford and Son a year later.
Mom's Mabley did a stand up act on "Ed Sullivan" in 1969 and starred in the 1971 film "Amazing Grace".
Richard Pryor was hot property and on "Ed Sullivan" in 1970. (I have footage of Pryor and Mabley on the show) He also starred in the 1972 film "Lady sings the blues".
Bill Cosby's sitcom was already on the air in 1970.
Dick Gregory was a guest on Laugh In in 1968 and relevant throughout the 70's.
