Re-watching this episode, I always found it interesting that Helen didn't seem to be upset with Brian about the house burning down, but was furious at Casey.

I wonder why that was

Maybe I'm digging a bit too deep here, but I think Helen still viewed Casey as the perfect sister at this point.

And the fact that Casey would let this happen, to all her stuff, after being such a snob all those years just set her off.
