I don't think he has. I have been watching scenes of Roots on BET lately. just about every hot black and white actor of the day were on there. Bill Cosby was big, and he would have been written in there somewhere. I know Roots is probably "beneath" him and did not like seeing blacks in that type of portrayal. But, it was acting.

Maybe he didn't appear, because he's more a comedian than a dramatic actor. I'm sure he didn't think it was beneath him.

I know. But he appeared in the 1971 movie Man and Boy and that was western, drama. He would have fit it in Roots.

I think you have mistaken crazy OJ Simpson for Bill Cosby he was in roots he played kunte kinte girlfriends father in the first part in the movie, Bill and OJ both look the same lol

And he also won a couple of Emmy awards for his dramatic role on I Spy in the 1960's. He could play drama too.
