I agree with you on everybody though Marcus did have one good moment when he faked like he was Lionel to impress that girl. And the second Lionel yeah though he was funny in that same episode when he strutted around like he was George when the girl said "she was going out with Lionel".
Second Lionel: "Go out with you, WOMAN I DON"T KNOW YOU!
He was annoying besides that moment and maybe when he got drunk before his graduation.

The 2nd Lionel was easy to take in season 3 and 4. During season 2 he was a IDIOT:lol:
*ROGER* 03-15-2013, 08:32 PM The second Alan Willis was definitely the worst. They should have kept on the first Alan. He was better.

I'm glad that idiot wasn't on the back or front of the season 5 DVD:lol:
MikeLutton 03-16-2013, 02:56 AM iso agree i never liked any of them espically Jenny i got to mute the tv anytime she comes on a scene
never liked 2nd Lionel he could never fill the shoes of the first one he sucked
magellan333 03-24-2013, 10:34 PM I always found the Alan Willis character to be pretty useless altogether. He was some kind of straight man to all the craziness that made up the rest of the cast.
Lionel #2 never bothered me. I was kind of glad they created a new character and didn't try to find an actor to clone Mike Evans.
*ROGER* 03-24-2013, 10:42 PM The Second Alan Willis.........."Give me some skin brotha"
The first Alan Willis could have gotten away with saying something like that, and he was pretty good at doing the dozens with George. But the SECOND Alan Willis just looked SO lame like a white guy who is trying to act black. He was so corny!

It is rumored that Alan Willis #2 took up break dancing in the '80s. I can picture him in action wearing a backwards hat and yelling "Gimme some skin, brotha!"

In part 1 of homecoming, When he first enters the scene george's face looks so real like it wasn't even a tv show anymore. George was like......'what do you want?"
Click on :30 and look at george's face when he ask Alan..."what do you want?

That was either some great acting or Sherman Hemsley didn't like Jay Hammer in real life:lol:

Sherman TRULY looked annoyed, so it could have been a combination of his great acting and that he didn't care for Jay.

By the way, I couldn't see the 1st Alan saying......."Hey I;m Alan Willis, remember me?"

I'm not exactly sure why I'm laughing my butt off right now! I suppose because only a nerd like Alan #2 could be so lame!

I could see the 1st Alan just standing there smiling and maybe saying...
"so we meet again"

The original Alan Willis was awesome, cool and smooth. He was also a good actor. The second guy who played Alan was horrible and dorky. Why would he be the Alan recast? I think he was the worst character on The Jeffersons.

And then to make a reference to them playing the dozens in season 1 when it wasn't even the same actor
OOliver 06-02-2015, 11:25 PM First Allan was so much better. Second was horrible and unwatchable.
Other characters I didn't like on the show:
Jenny
Second Lionel
Mr. Bentley
Tom
Yet, I tuned in every week because I loved all the others - and the writing was so funny (most of the time).

The second lionel mellowed out by season 3 and 4
