On Ebay I notice more and more sellers REFUSE to ship to PO boxes.

I loved using mine b/c I don't feel as uncomfortable about giving my home address out.

But sometimes YOU HAVE to provide your home address, and I just now ordered something and it went through but now the seller contacted me asking for my physical address.

It's usually because the shipment will be sent by UPS/FedEx , etc. They need a street address. I have a PO Box and have had a lot of problems. We don't use a home mailbox anymore because of vandalism in our area . It is frustrating! I give my street address along with my box number and it still won't be accepted. I send a note to the seller explaining that the post office will not deliver anything unless my box number is included in the address. That usually does the trick. Just contact the seller to explain that you don't have home mail delivery and insist that you HAVE to have your po box number included along with the street address. But if they only ship by UPS or FedEx or whatever the package should arrive at your home. It's a pain but I can usually work things out with the seller. Hope this helps!

Fed Ex has a service now called smartpost, the shipment begins with Fed Ex and ends with the postal service delivering the item. Many sellers are using this option for people who prefer to have the item shipped to a P.O. box.
