Yes, there is a 1977 Christmas special that has not been released. Many speculate that the music clearances of the brief inclusions of the song "Moon Over Miami" and the Burger King jingle of the 70s ("Hold the pickle, hold the lettuce..") are the cause of its non-release. There is also a Color Honeymooners episode ("Life Upon A Wicked Stage") that was presumably held back because of music clearance issues.

All edits that could easily be removed with "destroying" the special. Has anyone seen The Odd Couple, Happy Days or WKRP discs? Those were butchered. No one would even know these edits would be made if released.
