Ratings: "Survivor" Has Lowest Premiere Ever

It hasn't been a good couple of days for Jeff Probst.

A day after his daytime talk show was canceled, "Survivor: Caramoan — Fans vs. Favorites" opened to the series' lowest premiere ever, falling 23 percent to 9 million viewers and a 2.4 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic.

Here in Charlotte, NC they only showed the first hour and tape delayed the last half hour because of the Duke/North Carolina basketball game at 9. In the south, this was the game of the year. So at least in this part of the country I think people were tuned into the ballgame instead of Survivor.

Whoa! His talk show got canceled? Wow! Did not know that.
