I run Nancy McKeon Madness on tumblr.

So as we all know, Nancy McKeon’s birthday is April 4th. I have an idea for all Nancy McKeon fans to help her celebrate her birthday. I am officially dubbing it ‘Project Birthday Fan Mail’.

There are two fan mail addresses circulating the internet and I’ve heard that from both people have gotten a response from Nancy. Here’s where all of her fans come in:

I want you all to message me your birthday wishes to Nancy McKeon. Then when it gets close to her birthday I put them all into a letter to Nancy and send them to the two fan mail address. This way if i/we do/don’t get a response then Nancy will know that her fans are still out there wishing her well.

If this project becomes a success then I thought i/we could send out another letter letting Nancy know that her fans want her back on the air.

So what do you all think? Spread the news as far and wide as you can. I want Nancy to have a great birthday this year so why not start now? Message me here or on twitter (@nancymckeon4lyf) or even email me at grenwthnv4@aol, just put in the subject bar - Project Birthday Fan Mail.

Good questions. If she responds, which I'm hoping, I was just going to type up the response and post it here along with pictures. This way everyone will be able to read it and I won't have to remember/save tons of email addresses. I hope that makes sense. However, you can use your name if you're that comfortable with it. Or you can just put anonymous or something.

Some people have also asked me what they should write so I'm thinking of putting templates up so that it'll be easier.

Awesome, thanks! I don't mind sharing my name and address since you're the only one seeing it (well, and hopefully Nancy haha). I'll start writing something up.

UPDATE ON PROJECT: I'm going to be accepting submission until March 30th. This way I can put them all together and then mail off the letter(s) a few days before Nancy's birthday on April 4th be sure (hopefully) that she gets them in time.
