Ok dont laugh at me, I'm like almost cellphone illeterate, But is it harder to IM chat with ppl on facebook if youre mobile, I notice whenever I talk to my freinds on the IM chat they rarely chat back to me very often whenever it says "via mobile" my their name.

And when they do chat back it's always VERY short replies.

So I'm wondering is it harder or do they just NOT wanna talk to me, and them being mobile is just a coincidence?!

Usually when I have facebook messenger up on my phone I am out and about. I have it up when I am at work but I leave my phone in my locker so I can't always respond right away. Realistically if I can't respond I should just log out of it. When you are at home it is easier to chat because you really aren't doing more than one thing if you are on the computer. It's a secondary thing when you are out.

So to answer your question it's a little bit of both really.

Ok thanks, b/c I notice a lot of times when I IM someone if they are mobile they wont even SEE it, like it won't say "seen @ whatever time "

Plus, a lot of apps force you to use it in portrait mode... So you can't turn your phone sideways and use it like that. The actual Facebook app is like that, and it sucks that it doesn't allow you to type on it in landscape mode. I personally wouldn't want to be on FB Chat if the only way I can use it is in portrait mode. :(
