If you will notice the first post on the thread right below this one, it is mainly about the third season episode called "Samantha's Protest". I started it and someone else responded to it. I get very excited whenever this happens! In any event, the thing that I like most about this episode is the secondary plot of Katie's giddiness over the handsome boy from the protest. I thought it was great when Samantha's burst Katie's bubble about getting a date with him! On top of that, the smile on Julie's face was priceless when it happened! You see, whenever I hear the word disgusting, my mind always goes right back to what Julie said about the way that Katie positioned her body during the protest. Well, In my last thread, I wrote about an episode of "Happy Days" in which the word disgusting was used. That was an episode that was uploaded onto Youtube. That episode (as well as many other "Happy Days" episodes) has since been taken down. In any case, earlier this evening, I was watching an uploaded episode of the "Facts of Life". It was a first season episode and it was called "Flash Flood". At the start of the episode Molly Ringwald's character was on the sofa with Mrs. G. With a magazine in her hands, she said "sex, sex, sex! That is all the American population thinks about these days! Disgusting!" This was in in reference to what she was reading about in her magazine. All I had to do was here the word and my mind went right back to what Julie said while she was grabbing Katie's arm and spinning her around! I think it was very fitting that she used the word disgusting in regards to something that related to sex. Being that Katie was clearly sexually attracted to the handsome boy and was trying her hardest to make him sexually attracted to her! Good for Julie for putting a stop to the situation!
