I'm heading over to Seattle soon and was wondering if anyone knew of any authentic coffee shops or houses that I could venture.

You see, I was thinking about putting together my own photo album - a coffee table book, if you would, about some of the best coffe houses of Seattle. It would be a fun little project, don't you think?

A coffee table about coffe houses.

i haven't been there in 10 years, but I remember a few neat little places in Bellevue and Redmond (where I was living for awhile) other than that the Stone Way Cafe was awesome - go there for breakfast, and go EARLY it is small and gets busy. - its somewhere between Fremont and Wallingford.

actually that whole area around Freemont and Wallingford is worth checking out, there are a bunch of neat little shops and cafes around there.

What's the 909?

I don't remember the coffee shops there. I was only 11, in 1990, when I moved from Seattle to Texas.

Have a good trip when you go.

909 is a cafe' and wine shop in south Seattle. So far south, it doesn't feel like it's in Seattle.

Sorry I didn't see this post earlier but I'll see what I can dig up for you and maybe you can venture out again!
