"American Horror Story" Adds Frances Conroy for Season 3

"American Horror Story's" third season players are starting to take shape:

Frances Conroy has been added to the cast.



Co-creator Ryan Murphy took to Twitter on Thursday to reveal that Conroy would return for the mysterious third season.

"Thrilled to announce the legendary Frances Conroy is on board for next season's American Horror Story," Murphy tweeted.



Conroy becomes the fourth cast member to have appeared in all three installments of the FX horror series, joining returning players Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe.

During "Asylum", she had a recurring role as the Angel of Death.
