are you satisfied with it? Because I'm not satisfied with mine.:(

I have a lot of good things about it, and I try to stay focesed on them, but it's not easy.

I don't know anybody who is satisfied with their life, seems it can always be better but it can also be worse. I guess that's why I hung around people who's lives sucked, it made me feel better about mine.

No I'm not satisfied. I do have nice things and live in a nice house, I work. But I desire to be better off. I keep telling myself that hoping one day I will live the life I desire.

I'm sorry that you're going through a rough patch, Treky. Staying focused on the positive issues in your life is always a great fall back, but it's not always enough.

Not to get too personal with you, but sometimes depression doesn't need a reason other than body chemistry. When you are depressed about something tangible, i.e., death of a loved one, illness, finances, you sort of understand why you are depressed. However, when things are going "great" and you're still not happy or can't find satisfaction, it may just be a chemical imbalance. Have you spoken to your doctor about these feelings? Would you consider temporarily going on medication? Are you getting enough sleep?

I've been there. Temporarily going on zoloft helped me pull back from what I call "the vortex of darkness" enough so that I could function and get my life back on track.

Please reach out to people, especially optimistic (I do not mean mindless Pollyannas!) people who have gone through tough times but still keep plugging away. Attitudes are contagious and hanging out with positive people can help you.

Hang in there.

Yes, but always room for improvement.

Love where I live (not totally out in the middle of nowhere, but still quiet and close to the woods and mountain), blessed to have a job, let alone one I like. Both the wife and I make enough that we can live comfortably and do the things we want to. A daughter we can say we're proud of, and my horror taste is finally starting to rub off on her. Have a great family and friends.

One thing I've learned, the type of people you are around has an impact, I try to avoid people that are always negative as it is infectious.

Depsite the fact I am only currently working one part time job, and have been struggling to find a second gig, and my current financial situation is so not the best, I am happy with my life and feel blessed. The fact that I wake up every day is a blessing within itself.

It always helps to look at the good things in your life & try not to dwell on the bad. Granted, it's not always easy to do that but hang in there and keep trying. Find something positive in each day, no matter how small it is.

I'm fairly satisfied with my life. Some things could be a little better but then again some things could be a lot worse. So I'm happy & thankful for what I do have.
