Remember in the bank when Woody was going through Mr. Drummond wallet and discovered a stack of cash and said....."Guess you won't be needing this anymore"

But when the cops finally came and arrested both bank robbers Mr. Drummond walked over to Woody and said.........."Excuse me Officer, I believe he has my money in his top jacket pocket"

So Woody still came away with something after being taken to jail:lol:

I wonder if those cops took the money from Woody and told Mr. Drummond they had to keep the cash for evidence. Then the cops would probably keep the money for themselves and go live it large at the donut shop

The thing is the cops would have never know that the money was in Woody's top jacket pocket:lol:

I guess Mr. Drummond was so relieved that the whole bank mess was over that he wasn't even thinking about the money

Mr. Drummond had plenty of money to spare so I'm sure he didn't really care all that much about it. He was just relieved that he and his kids were okay.

All that mess 'cause Arnold insisted on withdrawing his lousy eleven dollars to date Tootie!

OH, that's right! I forgot about the stupid toaster. I haven't seen that episode in years! I think I remember what Tootie was wearing in that episode though. I had a crush on her back in the day. I think she had on a blue jumper.

Tootie was so cute in Facts Of Life, too. That show started in 1979 I think.
I was 9 then, but didn't start crushing on her until I was about 11 or 12. She looked good as she got a bit older and started to visit Kimberly in the city.

I thought Maxine definitely had a much better body than Laura. Maxine was trim, nice legs, nice boobies, nice butt. Laura could get a bit plump at times. But I did think Laura was hot.

I thought Kimberly was way hot, too. I also liked Lisa, but not so much Charlene. I never crushed on Janet Jackson. And I really disliked her before that when she was Penny on Good Times. So for me, the cute girls of Diff'rent Strokes was Kimberly and Lisa. And of course Tootie when she came to visit. :)

I don't remember Dianne. If she's 41 then she's about my age. I'm surprised I don't remember the episode either. I still say Tootie was the cutest guest. And Lisa was runner up.

Come to think of it, Phil didn't retrieve his cash from Woody's jacket pocket after Woody was arrested. Excellent observation, TVFactFan!

A thought occurred to me while I was re-watching "The Bank Job" on DVD recently, kiddies: Was it originally intended to be a fourth "Strokes"/"Hello, Larry" crossover episode? I know "Larry" was cancelled by NBC in the spring of '80 after two seasons, but I thought "The Bank Job" would've been cooler with Ruthie (Kim Richards) and Larry (McLean Stevenson) replacing Willis, while Diane (Krista Errickson) and Morgan (Joanna Gleason) would serve as substitutes for Tootie (Kim Fields). Just tossing in my two cents...whaddaya you guys think?

I hear ya, TVFactFan...what really didn't make sense was Tootie staying as a houseguest at the Drummonds' penthouse for two episodes during season four ("First Day Blues" and "The Team"). According to the storylines for those two episodes, Arnold was sleeping over with his pal Dudley (presumably at Dudley's place of residence).

Oddly enough, Gary Coleman didn't appear in either of those episodes; it's been rumored he (and/or possibly his parents) was embroiled in a contract or salary dispute. Coleman also appeared briefly in two other season four episodes "The Ski Weekend" and "Hello, Daddy."

What really surprises me, TVFactFan, is that many (if not all) of Kim Fields' lines seemed out of place in "First Day Blues"; it was almost as if they were originally intended for Coleman. And I believe one of Fields' lines was looped over (possibly for DVD release)...cast in point: in the scene where Tootie discovers the Baggie containing Willis's marijuana, Tootie smells the contents of the Baggie, stares at Abraham floating in his bowl (she thinks it's fish food for Abraham), and utters, "This has got to be the goofiest goldfish in New York!" If you watch the scene, notice that Fields' lips do not match the dialogue...I believe Fields' original line (I theorize that the original line was, "This has got to be the HIGHEST goldfish in New York!") was redubbed by Fields herself many years later.

Enjoy your day, TVFactFan!

TVFactFan, the only three characters from "The Facts Of Life" to never set foot in the Drummonds' penthouse (to the best of my knowledge) were Sue Ann Weaver (Julie Piekarski), Nancy Olson (Felice Schachter), and Jo Polniaczek (Nancy McKeon). The other girls--Tootie (Kim Fields), Natalie (Mindy Cohn), Blair (Lisa Whelchel), Cindy (Julie Ann Haddock), and Molly (Molly Ringwald)--stopped by for a visit at least once.

Yep. Then Mrs. Garrett is never seen (or mentioned) on "Strokes" again until season six's "The Wedding."
