I saw this article over at Deadline and figured to mention it here.

"Casting is currently underway through The Conlin Co. and no celebrities have been set, though I’ve heard the names of former White House intern Monica Lewinsky and 'Happy Days' alumna Erin Moran as possibilities."

this makes me feel sad for Erin, but if she does it at least she'll get some $$ (but hopefully gain some self-respect - i haven't seen the show, but doesn't also include some sort of therapy)?

I was sad when I read Erin's current living conditions, but was happy to hear that she didn't turn into a street walker willing to do whatever for drugs. I really hope she makes a comeback. She deserves the money and recognition.

I will be the first to admit that I don't know Ms. Moran any better than the rest of you, but, based on what little I do know (admittedly based mostly on what I have seen of her on TV or read about her in the tabloids in recent years), it seems to point to the fact that she is a sick woman. I don't know if she has addiction or other mental health issues, but she simply does not appear to be well. If she does, indeed, appear on this show, I hope, for Ms. Moran's sake, that they give her a mental health evaluation and, if appropriate, give her treatment. She clearly needs it and it would be pretty darn awful if the producers of this show simply used her as a prop and tossed her aside without giving her the help she clearly needs.

I remember seeing a mid 90s Happy Days reunion of the gang and Scott Baio admitted on the air that he dated her when they were on the show. She FLIPPED OUT about it and was like a possessed woman. Since then, he mentions very little detail about it and steers completely away from the question.
