White Rabbit 04-25-2013, 08:48 PM Definitely the yellow. While it is far from my favorite color, that pink was just overkill. There were so many different shades all over, it was a "pink nightmare," as The Old Man from "A Christmas Story" said. Also, the dominance of the pink made it look like a baby's room. Glad they finally changed it. Which do you like best? The first season with the wallpaper, that was very similar to my bedroom when I was a little girl. Very common in the 60's and 70's for a girls bedroom! Than the walls painted pink was cool too. The yellow was nice too though, good to change!!! Once regular viewers were familiar with the Brady house they didn't need the bright pink colors to identify the girls bedroom anymore and they were able to redecorate the room in warmer and softer colors. My childhood bedroom in the 70's was completely pink. I even had a canopy bed and everything. Then when I was in high school my parents and I painted it blue. The girls bedroom changed the most over the years though. In fact, we even saw then pick the final colours it had. |
