"Major Dad" is coming to "Southland"!
Gerald McRaney will play Det. Hicks, a retired police officer who was Officer John Cooper’s (Michael Cudlitz) training officer. He now drinks a little too much and lives on a boat in Marina Del Rey.
McRaney is set to recur for at least five episodes.
"Southland" returns to TNT for its fifth season on Feb. 13 at 10 p.m.
