“Boardwalk Empire’s” Chris Caldovino (Tonino) has just closed a deal to become a recurring character on the HBO series. Caldovino’s new deal guarantees he’ll appear in multiple episodes of the Prohibition Era-drama, set in Atlantic City and starring Steve Buscemi.

Last season, Caldovino played Gyp Rosetti’s (Bobby Cannavale) right-hand man (who eventually offed his boss).

“Boardwalk Empire” is set to begin filming next month.
